Bringing a variety of culinary influences to the trade, these chefs have helped to take marinating to the next level. The editors of Marinaters wanted to profile some of our favorite A-list chefs:
Jamie Oliver
Known as the “naked chef“, this British chef specialized in local and organic cuisine. Over the years, Oliver has inspired a variety of marinade recipes based on entirely natural recipes, including salad dressings, traditional Italian cuisine and marinated chicken. With his global stature and attention to ecological concerns, Oliver has inspired healthy, all-natural recipes for a variety of clients.
Wolfgang Puck
A top Austria Chef who has innovated in fusion cuisine, combining elements of French, modern California and traditional Eastern European recipes, Puck has restaurants throughout the country. After moving to the United States to learn California cuisine in 1973, Puck developed a variety of innovative marinating techniques including gourmet pizza, stire fry and a variety of gourmet salads with unique marinade dressings.
Cat Cora
A leading professional chef from Mississippi, Cora brings an infusion of Southern cuisine, along with the Mediterranean style that she learned from the Culinary Institute of America. Cora is known for her marinated lamp shanks with salsa verde, as well as her specialty Kota Kapama, which is a special Greek chicken flavored with a cinnamon marinade.
