Marinated Steak Recipe

A great way to put your marinater to good use is to make a delicious steak recipe for your next party. The editors of Marinaters.com worked with expert chefs to craft an unbeatable marinating recipe that will be sure to leave your guests wanting more. We recommend choosing a lean, tender steak such as prime rib or flank, which will ensure that the marinade is well distributed throughout the meat. You can either grill or broil the steak, depending on your preference; either way, you’ll have a great dish in the end.

To start, you’ll want a pound of lean steak, along with some salt and pepper for the main dish. The marinade is comprised of olive oil (¼ cup), minced garlic (1 glove), a tablespoon of red wine vinegar, ¼ cup honey and ¼ cup of low sodium soy sauce. You’ll want to make sure that you place some incisions in the meat so that the marinade works particularly well. Many marinaters work best overnight, although you should also be able to get away with a few hours. Mix the ingredients in your marinater with the meat, and then remove it and add the pepper and salt.

Cook the meat on an olive oil coated tray, and cook on high for about 15 minutes – if you have a grill, make sure to turn it half way between. You’ll want to make sure the inside is well cooked according to your preferences – we recommend medium well, although you can also try medium rare if that if you preferences. Slice the steak thin and top with a home made sweet salsa for your guests’ enjoyment.
